The President of the Republic, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, accompanied by his wife, His Excellency Angeline Ndayishimiye and his children, has called on Burundians  to get tested for COVID-19 regularly, at least once a week.

The Presidential Family has joined  the Christians  of Regina Pacis Parish of SOCARTI camp located in Kamenge urban zone in the 5th Sunday prayer of the Lenten season. His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye  said the voluntary testing centers have been set up across the country and the test is offered free of charge.

The Head of State also asked the Burundian population to scrupulously follow the barrier measures taken to prevent this pandemic.

His Excellency Evariste Ndayishime  supported this parish in the process of extending the church with sheets that the parish needs to cover this church and 200 bags of cement.
