Burundi President visits inspiring Equatorial Guinean places and companies
This Tuesday, November 3, Burundi Head of State and his delegation visited some places and inspiring companies. He started with the SIPOPO International Conference Room. During the guided tour, he learned that the building includes a large room with 1600 seats and two others for 350 and 150; VIP conference rooms with a capacity of 400 seats, a restaurant that can hold 500 guests, office areas, press area, simultaneous translation booths, etc.
Next, President Evariste Ndayishimiye visited La Paz Referral Hospital, a medical center with a reputation for treating the most complex cases with the possibility, if necessary, of telemedicine. President Ndayisimye’s visit then continued on the island of Bioko to discover the Punta Europa gas complex, the AMPCO methanol and the GNL factories in Equatorial Guinea then at the Malabo National Park before heading to Riaba district where the Presidential Couple and all the members of the delegation dined in the park, owned by Marcos Obiang Nguema Nsue.
For his part, HE Angeline Ndayishimiye, First Lady of the Republic of Burundi, visited, on the morning of November 3, the headquarters of the Constacia Mangue Nsue Okomo Foundation, the Foundation of her counterpart from Equatorial Guinea as well as some of her projects such as the CANIGE Multilingual School, the Malabo Psychiatric Hospital.
In the discussions between the two First Ladies, it was disclosed that the Constacia Mangue Nsue Okomo Foundation operates in the same field of assistance to the vulnerable as the Fondation Bonne Action – Umugiraneza of HE Angeline Ndayishimiye. The two organizations plan to have a close collaboration.
