President Ndayishimiye mets administrative officials for their capacity building in administrave techniques
The Head of State His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye met, for the first time, in Gitega, the political capital, all the administrators and governors of the provinces.
He congratulated them for their new positions before reminding them that they are elected by the people to serve the people as a good father.
“We must fight for the well-being of all Burundians; this must be a concern of all administrators,” said the Head of State while calling for the decentralization of development projects.
The Head of State urged these government representatives to exploit the following four sources of income: the agro-livestock sector, exploitation of natural resources, tourism and ICT.
The Head of State His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye finally granted double cabin van vehicles which will help in the development not of the administrator himself, but for the entire commune.
This meeting is part of other meetings where the Head of State met with the heads of services in the different provinces.
